Debbie Smith is the the Founder of Special Recreation Services, Inc. She has a B.S. Degree from East Stroudsburg University in Recreation and Leisure Services Management.  Debbie has worked in various recreational positions since 1985.  These positions include: Camp Counselor, Activity Director at a Swim Club, After School Day Care worker, Director of Therapeutic Recreation at 3 different Skilled Nursing facilities and her last position was running the Recreation Department for 12 years at a local non-profit organization that provides group homes and services for adults who are intellectually disabled and/or mentally ill.  Debbie has been a certified Activity Director since 1997 with the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals.
