POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

DSP (Direct Support Professional):

FT and PT Positions available in Northeastern PA (Carbon, Monroe, Northampton, Pike and Wayne Counties) working 1:1 taking adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Autism into the community for recreation, socialization and habilitation such as bowling, swimming, movies, mini golf, arcades, shopping, volunteering and much more. Must be 18 or over with HS diploma or GED. Applicant needs to have a reliable vehicle and feel comfortable transporting clients in their own vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed) when a company vehicle is not available.  Must have a valid drivers license, insurance, registration and current inspection and be able to pass a drug test and criminal background checks. Applicant must be compassionate, kind, patient and flexible. Hours vary but most positions are Monday-Friday between 9am to 4pm.  Some positions require occasional nights and weekends.  Depending on experience, hourly rate is $15-$18. Paid holidays off and paid vacation. Plus other benefits available. Must be able to fulfill 24 hours of paid orientation, most of which will be on your own device at home. (Must have a reliable internet connection and a laptop/tablet is the preferred device for trainings). MUST BE knowledgeable WITH THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY including Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, using email, Google Duo, and with Android devices.

Group Activity Assistant:

Do you breakout in random song and dance when you hear songs that you love? Can you use your voice loudly to get the attention of a group of people? Can you be fun, outgoing, and silly at times but also be compassionate, kind, patient and flexible?  Then this is the job for you! You will mainly be working in Monroe and Northampton Counties leading a group activity program of adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Autism. You will transport/meet them in the community for recreation and socialization activities such as bowling, swimming, movies, mini golf, arcades, crafts, exercise, dancing and much more. Must be 18 or over with HS diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance and be able to pass a drug test and criminal background checks. Hours vary but you would be working mostly during weekdays (times are mainly between 9 am and 2 pm) and rare occasional nights and weekends if there is a special activity that is scheduled. Position starts off at 3 days a week but could possibly go to 5 days a week in the future. Starting pay is $14-$16 an hour depending on experience. Paid holidays off and paid vacation. Plus other benefits such as paid dental and vision available. Must be able to fulfill 24 hours of paid orientation, most of which will be on your own device at home. (Must have a reliable internet connection and a laptop/tablet is the preferred device for trainings). Male Staff needed with experience working with Autistic Men

Must be 18 or over with HS diploma or GED. Applicant needs to have a reliable vehicle and feel comfortable transporting client in their own vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed). MUST HAVE Experience working with Moderately to Severely Autistic Adults. Pay rate is depending on experience $16-$18 to start.
