DSP (Direct Support Professional):
Full Time/Part Time positions available in Northeastern PA (Monroe County and Lackawanna County) working 1:1 taking adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Autism into the community for recreation, socialization and habilitation such as bowling, swimming, movies, mini golf, arcades, shopping, volunteering and much more. This is a fill in position for when their regular staff are out sick or on vacation. Must be 18 or over with HS diploma or GED.
Applicant needs to have a reliable vehicle and feel comfortable transporting clients in their own vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed) when a company vehicle is not available.
Must have a valid drivers license, insurance, registration and current vehicle inspection and be able to pass a drug test and criminal background checks.
Applicant must be compassionate, kind, patient and flexible. Hours vary but most positions are Monday-Friday anytime between 9 am and 4 pm. Depending on experience, hourly rate is $15-$18.
Must be able to fulfill 24 hours of paid orientation, some of which will be done in our office located in Marshalls Creek, PA. MUST BE knowledgeable WITH THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY including Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, using email, Google Duo, and with Android devices.
