Community Participation Supports (CPS) now being offered.

We have been approved by the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) to provide Community Participation Supports (CPS).  This program is DIFFERENT from our group activities. CPS takes up to 3 participants at a time out into the community (however currently Special Recreation only works 1:1 with our CPS participants) to work on their specific goals that they might have to help them achieve independence in the community while working on their socialization and other goals that they may have. One example is that maybe someone wants to lose weight but they do not want to work out at a gym by themselves.  We would provide a staff to help them work on their weight loss goal while out in the community.  If you are interested in CPS, you need to contact your Supports Coordinator at MH/DS to see if you qualify.

Due to COVID-19 our group activities are limited to once a week.
